or maybe gregg is the player's character? or maybe its the unfinished monster at the door! we dont know, we didnt have enough time to decide!

Jokes aside,  this was "New" Team 9's entry for the BOA GameJam 2024 held at Bilkent University, made over a total of 3(ish) days. It is not totally finished (hence the prototype status). It might be made open source at some point. idk. dont count on it. 

 

gameplay instructions:

Left Click - Interact / Pick Up Item / Use Item on Target

C / Drop Item

H / Calm Down

your job is to protect the conveniently placed egg using your unhealthy tendencies™ and other tools like an xray skin melting roof heater and the incredible ability to close your eyes.

there are three mechanics that you must deal with: temperature, the egg's bloodthirst and insanity.

the temperature drops if the heater (red button) is off. it increases if the heater is on. get the temperature too high (above 40) or too low (below 32) and you lose.

your insanity constantly increases. if you let it get to 100, you lose. press H to take a breather and regain your sanity.

the egg is in constant need of blood. use your knife on the table to stab yourself, and fill your vials from the resulting wound. after filling enough, give it to the egg. lose too much blood, and you will black out for a short while, where you are unable to do anything
